ok i shall be the first to post after 12/12 therow day!
it was awesome, as all therow days. the feeling of knowing each other for FIVE full years and being great friends for at least four is REALLY NICE. while studying (yes muggers liyana and i mugged at macs just before dinner), yana n i agreed that something's always different when ure with therow ppl...i guess it's feeling more free, open, relaxed, at ease (at this point everyone's gonna start complainin that theyre all the same thing) nothing to feel uncomfortable about..
oh so we dinnered at pastamania...and ama n shanti said they were full...totally spoiled the ambience...even i who ate a meal at 3 didnt say anything! of course, there were those who came late...like yana n i ...cos we were off buying shanti's and ama's very belated bd presents. LOL. felt weird. mental note, we should never double buy presents, cos im totally broke now...oh mann...cant go out this week...cept when someone treats me on thurs...:):) anyway
haha, shanti and ama were like calling yana n i one after another asking where we were, hahaha, we faked them and said we were still at macs. they believed of course...until we presented them our presents...hehehehe...after the mania, we went to macs for dessert! so appropriate right? then we talked and talked...bout ...not really everything...and then went home.

me: break from choir now, chionging ct topics (at least 3 per day if not i die), involved in this philharmonic concert thing (choral), mugging outside with seniors (a bit strange if u think bout it, but i dont really feel it), slapping myself when i emo.
shanti: eh, outta touch. but she and her were preparing for some...history thing? whaa, bad memory

liyana: busy rehearsing for streetfest? like EVERYDAY! and can still call me to ask me geog qn..urgh, when will the day come i am more mugger than liyana. :)
aristal was rockin! like so cos half the row was on stage...the other half sitting at $20.50 seats cursing away.

LATEST UPDATE ON THE ROW MEMBERS
Amalina:
1. she is busy with chingay as she is serving the singapore community as a member in the exco.
2. she has been making lots of new friends lately, with one new one today (that guywho said hi to her for like, a million times, freaking her out during talent(t?)ime 2008.
3. she's got a1 for chinese and a2 for malay o levels! smart ass.
3. uhm. you see, we hardly meet nowadays due to the reason being her taking arts and me taking sciences. coupled with the fact that we no longer study malay(YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I SWEAR GOD LOVES ME.) or chinese(kinda miss that. now my chinese is like, real shit), there are days whereby i dont meet her at all. so yes, i cant quite update for her.
Shanti:
1. she is busy with indian dance, dance, dance. you can do it! she will be performing for the upcoming cny concert in nj, so guys and girls, WATCH HER. (i sincerely apologise for not being able to be there to watch. need to do paper cutting competition. ;( )
2. she is also busy with drama (i think?) due to being in exco. you know, she has to like, organise stuffs and all that. plus drama syf is approaching, and she's got to do all the backstage propos and stuffs.
3. she has been gymming during the holidays, coming back fitter and more muscular than ever! of course, from the bottom of my heart, i would like to thank her for being my gymming partner.
Liyana:
1. this is weird. i'm simply passing away time while drying my wet hair by doing this. (yess i just bathed. i reached home at 11.40 mind you, and yesterday at 11.45. night.)
2. i swear, im going to be aching tomorrow, especially my neck. thanks to demonic dance.
3. yawn. im realllllll tired.
Sheena:
1. she's the oldest. she just turned 17 two days ago. we gave her nail polish, eye liner, and a book. part two will be coming up soon. ;p
2. she's busy with choir as she'll be flying to italy for choir competition in march! MUSTMUST SUPPORT HER ya?
3. SHE IS THE WINNER FOR TALENT(T)IME 2008 SOLO SINGING CATEGORY!!!!! she was brilliant on stage! just singing her heart out made all three of us cry. yes, we were sitting in the middle of the lt, crying away while she sang. CONGRATS SHEENA! THE ROW LOVES YOU!
reminiscencing on the past, i realised just how much each and everyone of us grew. it's really amazing how we have developed to become who we are today. i can still recall, we were real toots in sec 1. we all had those nerd glasses, carrying huge bags, with long mgs pinafore covering our knees.we would sit at the back of the 1d(sec1 class) classroom, singing mcfly and busted songs. we would go on and on, arguing on who exactly is the cutest mcfly or busted memeber. and when we want to go out, we would simply bent over the table, and say"lets go out this saturday" the reply would be "who? the four of us?" and the answer would be "yep, the row only". and i guess, that's how we kinda called outselves from then on.
sec2 was a little shaky, as shanti wasnt in the same class as us. there were those childish arguments concerning each member, stupid stupid moody girl cat fights. but in the end, we grew to understand each other better, to know other's weak and strong points, and to simply accept each other's weaknesses in character. they say friendship is nothing without arguments, and i agree. at the end of the year, we were all reunited once again when we successfully managed to go to NJIP.
despite being in different classes for all of us, i come to think now that it's all good. each of us had to learn to stand on our own two feet, and not needing to rely on one another, thus being more independent. (this does not apply to ever sociable shanti.) despite so, we do try eating lunch together, meeting up after school in the library to mug (we have caught the njc mugger bug at such a young age) and going to kap after school to simply just eat fattening food and talk. its also amazing how we each found what we were more talented in. i must say, njc really provided us with opportunities to discover talent, as well as to flaunt it/them. although i have to say, ew were still pretty childish back then (a.k.a more girl fights), but it all comes down to just accepting that each other is changing, and i guess it takes time for all of us to adjust to this changes, and finally having a mature mind about it.
ip2 is the year whereby all of us have matured. (no really) shanti became more sociable and found her love for indian dance (maybe not the cca, but the dancing part), amalina became more active in activities and more sociable, sheena became more confident of herself and finally being able to break out from her shell, and me, i dont know. i think im still the same, still have yet to overcome what amalina refers to as "shy(ness)".
this year, 2008. so far, it has been pretty good for the row. all of us have different commitments, different timetable. no wait, amalina and shanti almost meet every lesson, and im gonna meet sheena for most lessons. so i guess, we shall take this opportunity to say hi to each other during lessons.
people might think we're mad for crying while sheena was performing. they might not understand why we were so so elated when sheena was announced as the winner. but we do. we have seen each other through times. we laughed. we sang. we argued. we fought. we bitched. we cried. we smiled. we hug.
we LOVE.

the row day!
haha, ok not really. we went out 2 days before 12 dec cos shanti couldnt makit then and we were going out with alyssa on tues. so what happened...
er. i reached clarke quay station bout 20 min before 1pm, 1st as usual :P, then walked to mica building to make an enquiry regarding busking. i reached there and wow they were having lunch break, stupid me. then liyana called me and i went back. haha, she was SECOND to reach! and she wasnt really late! what a special day this must really be. i was shocked with liyana's rebonded hair. pleasantly surprised, more like it. haha. the two of us went in to BK and then shanti n ama somehow managed to find us. i think they came tgt. we ate and talked and restricted ourselves from finishing the chocolate breadtalk cookies they bought from choir. after deciding we wanted to cut our hair, we excitedly went off to central to look for a hair salon. haha, round n round. no cheap place to cut hair (nothing below $30!!). so then we took a bus and went off to far east. it was raining haha. oh yeah, before that they kindly peied wo to revisit the mica building. i kinda got what i wanted...
at far east. even more round n round. haha. so many salons, nothing to suit us. we finally decided on one that looked pretty new, was pretty big and charged $14++ for students or something. so shanti ama n i got a hair cut n ended up paying $20, $18 and $18 respectively. well, im quite happy with my haircut. or rather there's nothing for me to complain bout. cept maybe my hair on top still tends to stand up. and my hair poofs up in the morning...-.- ahh, the guy who cut my hair was from ...CHINA i think. i didnt understand all the haircutting terms he was saying in chinese!! lol. but i still managed to get my hair cut ok! the power of my chinese! haha. lol. liyana: "wo ke yi pai zhao?" haha.
after that we walked off to starbucks, the one in the building beside heeren. after sitting for 3 min i had to leave for alumni prac. lol. sigh, wish i didnt have to but at least i was saved of being tempted to spend money. lol..
i cant update on alyssa's outing. i didnt go cos i was very tired! im sorry!

soo many assignments ahh!!! yall can complain along with me. geesh man. and im here typing crap. i just dont wanna start. MI essay, Ma assignment (5 n;ppfu %), Bio poster, Physics Assignment (got no idea how to do), La sci fi thingy...
and my acap got into open day busking. i dunno how we're gonna deal with pracs, its killinly tight...Zzz...and the mikes...how?!!?!

hello, yes well im finally posting something.
seems like our blog is REAL REAL dead. i wanna change the layout, but like, ive been spending my time watching heroes, one tree hill(whats left of it anyway ;(. sobs), and studying. yes ive been mugging, though i feel like its pointless mugging cos like ive been stuffing my brain cells with more and more information each day, and i dont know if they can retain those information.groan. im so gonna die way early.
